The Yagbonwura, flanged by all the divisional chiefs of the Gonja Kingdom, has caused for the recitation of the Quran to solicit the blessings and victory for his son, H.E John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
In fulfillment of his promise, H.E John Dramani Mahama has built a modern Jakpa Palace for the King and overlord of the Gonja Kingdom. During the sod cutting ceremony, H.E John Dramani Mahama pledged that the project will be completed and commissioned before the end of the year, 2024.
Today, 6th December has been scheduled for the commissioning of the Palace project. Before the commissioning, the Yagbonwura caused for the recitation of the Quran in prayer for H.E John Mahama’s victory in the upcoming general elections. All the paramount and sub chiefs of the land demonstrated their loyalty and love for H.E John Dramani Mahama and prayed for his victory.
